The Philly Basket Brigade provides a basket full of groceries to a family in need at Thanksgiving. The families we help are local families, with children, who are struggling to put food on the table this year. The Basket Brigade reaches out to these families with a gift that allows them to experience the joy and pride of making a Thanksgiving feast for their family in their own kitchen.
Our basket brigade is designed to be a safe giving experience for families. Children decorate the gift boxes and families participate together in the assembly area to pack all the food supplies.
As you sit down at your own Thanksgiving Dinner table this year, be sure to remind your children and loved ones that families in the Philadelphia Area are also enjoying their meal because of the "Giving" that your family donated.

The Philly Basket Brigade is part of the Anthony Robbins International Basket Brigade, which is built on a simple notion: one small act of generosity on the part of one caring person can transform the lives of hundreds.
What began more than 30 years ago as Anthony Robbins’ individual effort to feed families in need, is now providing baskets of food and clothing for an estimated 2 million people annually in countries all over the world.
The Philly Basket Brigade started 17 years ago, feeding only a few families from our own kitchen. Today, we're now very proud to consistently feed over 500 local families in need each year in the Philadelphia area!
